parasitic drain 92 eg
Hey guys, so i finally had time to try to find out what was draining my battery dead after a week of not driving it. I hooked up a multimeter in series to the neg battery terminal and cable and measure the amperage.
I started pulling fuses under the driverside dash and when i pulled fuse #3 (ceiling light) the amperes dropped way down to almost nothing. So now that im at these step. What do i do or what do i look for?
My dome light works fine in all three settings on/off/door ajar. The car is pretty basic and torn down, theres no aftermarket stereo connected and i haven't had any other electrical problems with the car except for a clicking sound directly behind the same fusebox under the driverside dashboard(couldn't really see whats behind that fusepanel except for what looks like a black cover or giant relay. Sounds/feels like a relay clicking every 3-4seconds when the key is in the on position.

Re: parasitic drain 92 eg
as a sidenote, i was wiring up a harness for the stereo (stock one was cut by previous owner) and for some reason haven't been able to read any voltage from the constant and switched power wires. But i just looked and fuse #23 is blown so hopefully when i change the fuse on that i should get at least some reading from the switched power wire i assume. It might not be related to the original problem but i figured i'd throw it out there who knows.
