I think my battery just ended itself...
Last night was leaving my house to go stay with my girlfriend and was loading all of my stuff into the car. The trunk light turned on when I opened the trunk, the dome light turned on when I opened the door. When I got in and put the key in the ignition the dash lights came on and the fuel pump primed. I turned the key over and the dash lights turned off. It wouldn't crank or anything. Absolutely nothing happens when I turn the key. My entire car is dead; Door locks, dome light, everything. I want to say it is the battery but it seems peculiar that the lights and everything worked before I tried to start it. I had driven the car only hours prior. I suppose it could possibly be one of the main fuses in the fuse box as well. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

This or where the negative grounds to your car may need cleaned.
Could also be the positive

Probably didn't stop working in functionality, just a loose ground that broke the circuit; although it is possible the battery had enough voltage to turn on lights, but not crank the car and that drained the last of the power left in the battery.

When my ground battery terminal was loose it would always pop off whenever I tried starting the car. Lights and everything would work but as soon as I would try to crank it I would hear a pop and sure enough it poped off the battery... no idea how but it sounds like the same problem.
