Painting Interior Pieces?...
I'm thinking of painting some of my interior parts silver. Has anybody done this? I dont want the paint to be chipping off in a month, so does anybody have any suggestions on how to properly do this?
Thanks

I think they sell kits for that type of thing. It comes with like everything you need to do it right. I think http://www.stylincompacts.com has them. Just be sure you want to do that...

LMAO@painting
Oh ya I laugh at cars that come into work with painted crap. Hmm good example is a black Prelude came in with the little side skirts painted YELLOW. I took the wash gun and "washed"(actually blasted) some of the paint off LOL

Trust me, you will regret painting the interior. But if you do, get a vinyl dye, not paint, it will soak in and not chip or crack like paint.

yea yea paint it man! and i would recomend painting it with any of krylons wonderful choices of paint..... i dont think i could put enough thumbs down,my question is why would you want to do it? what purpose would it serve? unless there is a breakthrough and you would be able to dyno tune your yellow air vents and pull some hp out of them. i wouldnt let paint touch any of your hondas interior, unless its black paint to cover up the nasty *** mess you made....

I'm not going to rice it out, just a few silver accents on my black interior, like the air vents on the top of the dash. Silver not yellow

Silver might not be too bad. But painting your air vents, door handle trim (gee I've never seen that done before!), and various other trim pieces is like the automotive equivalent of having multi-colored tassles hanging from the ends of your handlebars on your bicycle.
