Paint side mirrors help

Re: Paint side mirrors help
Just pop the mirror covers off on the inside, there are three either 8 or 10mm bolts that hold it in. Why are you stripping the old paint? You have to be careful with stripping the mirrors. They are plastic and will get eat up if you use the wrong stripper. I would just scuff them up real good, prime them, and then paint.

Never mind found one. Ok if you have the tweeters on yours you will have the wiring to contend with, if not it's super easy.
Behind this panel after you pop it off there are three 8mm (i think) nuts to undue. After that the whole mirror assembly slides right off. It's very easy, but it's more of a pain to put the panel back on with the door panel on. I would recommend taking the door panel off for ease of removal/installation.

Ah, well you can either just tape off the mirror, or take it apart. It just pops out of a socket. I didn't like prying on it afraid it would break, but it just popped right out.
