Re: having problem with stock radio
Disconnect the head unit from power and leave it alone for over an hour. If you type in 5 wrong codes, the unit will lock. Also make sure the code you have is actually for that radio and not just a code card some guy found. See if the serial numbers match.

Re: having problem with stock radio
well if u have the head unit pulled out, u can just disconnect the cord, otherwise disconnect the car battery, turn head lights on, leave for like 5 minutes, then replug in and try again.. and Yes, the serial number is mounted on the top of the head unit. If you cant get the code you have to work, you will have to pull out the head unit, write down the serial number, and call the honda dealership for the correct code.

Re: having problem with stock radio
so if i did it the car battery way, all i have to do is, just repeating it so i am correct. i discount the battery turn on the head lights on keep on for 5 minutes and then reconnect everything. and it should work.
now wen i reconnect everything do i still have to put the code in. and also doing it the battery way is faster rite

Re: having problem with stock radio
Yes when you reconnect the battery, you will have to enter the code. All d/c the battery is doing is reseting the stereo so it can accept codes. The purpose of leaving the headlights on when you d/c the battery is just to drain any extra juice left. So d/c battery, turn hdlts on, leave for 5 min, reconnect battery, enter code, and all should work if the code is correct. If it doesnt work, then we have another problem and we will go from there.
