pacesetter exhaust, good or bad?
was thinking of upgrading my stock exhaust and was just wondering if the pacesetter exhaust was any good, ive had one of those cheap ebay N1 styles and they suck after awhile so i dont wanna waste money on one of them, especially since i dont have much to spend anyway. ive heard like `1 good thing and a few bad but was just looking for more opinions ... thanks

i have a pacesetter cat back on my EJ1. i love it. its 2 years old. i drive in salty Chicago year round and its holding up great. but the best part is how quiet it is. similar to RSR (IMHO).

Re: pacesetter exhaust, good or bad?
I had one of their exhaust systems on my Jetta. It was a quiet exhaust but the quality showed after about a year. The pipes started rusting and sagging after a winter and 2 summers. I'd stay stock or save up for something of better quality.

Get a TSUDO muffler from ebay. They are kind of quiet but very deep sounding, and they hold up well. Mine is over 2 years old and I have a turbo car that I DD with it and it hasnt had a single issue.
