P84 Ecu help
I know this ecu comes from a JDM Vtec E but I was wondering if someone was to get this chipped if it would respond as normal? Kinda like getting the P28 chipped. Would there be any hang ups or anything. Thanks!

Re: P84 Ecu help
Assuming its like its US equivalent the P07 it can't be chipped, the space is there for the eprom, but it just doesn't work. Before some comes on here and says "but my best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with this girl that someone had a P07 chipped" heres the scoop, '93 - '95 California spec ECUs lack the lean burn functionality that federal and '92 california VXs had, they use a normal 1720 board like '92 - '93 P06 and P28 ECUs and can be chipped, the rest of them used a 1560 board and aren't chippeable. JDM P84s use a 1950 board but it looks the same as 1560 board to me.
