p28 or p72 ?

Default p28 or p72 ?

what ecu should i run on my gsr i/h/e swapped 99 civic?

well i know the p28 is what i have on my 97 EX, so i dont think that would help you much. maybe the p72 would be better.

P28 ECU's are made for SOHC Vtec, not DOHC. You can use a P28 ECU that is chipped to run DOHC, but it's better to use a stock DOHC GSR P72 to start and then mess with fuel mapping later on. Do some research!

You're motor is stock. use the stock ecu.

Good rule of thumb.

if you want to pass emissions = OBD2A P72

if you want to fall emissions, chip it, and tune the car = P28

My brother has the same setup for when emissions makes its way to our little town.

Come test time he just pops on the stock ecu. After, he puts back on the hondata.

i use a p05 for inspection. it was my stock ecu for the 1.5 8v...it only looks for 1 wire o2 and eliminates practicaly all cel's
