p28 in em1
switching ecu over to obd1 from obd2b with p28 is there anything i need to worry about im getting the conversion harness for it. but will it throw any cels or anything. im getting it tuned right after i intall it.

No need to worry then. Leave it to the tuner. There are never any issues with using an OBD1 chipped ecu as far as technical things go. Although, there may be legal implications depending on what the local laws are like by you. OBD2 cars run emissions parts that OBD1 cars dont have, such as extra purge valves for the evap and mainly the 2nd 02 sensor, which monitors the catalytic converter. You cant generally go thru state inspectiong with an OBD1 ecu in an OBD2 car. Thats about it tho.

yea in my area i have only visual emmision testing but will it still pass emmisions if i need to get it tested for emssions. kind of new with ecus and emmision testing. i just want to get my car tuned and running strong. and able to be streetable

if its gonna get tuned then dont worry about it but i slaped a p28 in my si and worked with no cels or issues and drove it to get chipped and tuned.....
