Owned?
Decided to take my front bumper off and remount with new hardware
Only to discover that 90% of my car looks like this:
http://picasaweb.google.com/Di...64450
(Sorry for bad pic - was taken with cell phone / at work, don't have cam with me - looks like previous owner cut the **** out of my bumper to make it fight x.x )
Owned?
How / should I go about trying to fix this? Or should I just sell the damn car
Apparently the previous owner hit something, bumper doesn't sit right
http://picasaweb.google.com/Di...59106
So I decided to take it off get it painted and remount with with some new hardware, except i can only get it flush with my light OR my quarter panel.
If I make it flush with my quarter panel theres a nice gap all the way around the front of my head light ( as seen in pic above) if I get it flush with the head light my bumper sticks out about a quarter inch from my quarter panel ( no pics)
Any have any ideas on how to get it to stay flush all the way around? Was looking at the end of the front bumper where it connects to the quarter panel to see if I couldn't drill a hole and anchor it to my frame but no luck -.-
I know the bumper fitting nice and flush isn't that big of a problem, but it's bugging the hell out of me @_@
And as for the rust I haven't got a clue how to handle that? Suggestions?

Re: Owned? (Xathine)
Go to http://www.jdmshit.com
Find their replacement bumpers.
Purchase with Credit card.
Wait for it to Arrive.
Replace bumper/paint new bumper.
A good body shop would paint your bumper for ~$300

it looks like the car was in an accident and the radiator support is twisted, a new bumper is not going to fix that, and the rust is from whoever half-assed it trying to fix it

I couldn't tell what was wrong from the picture. I was just assuming his bumper was messed up.
If the radiator support is what is damaged, then replacing the radiator support is cheaper to do and quite easy.

Re: Owned? (ek forever guy)
Its not the bumper itself, bumper = fine, just got about an inch cut off of it in that picture.
The problem is it won't mount stright, frame is ruested / bent on the right side from a *minor* accident as they called it.
I just wanna know how to handle the whole front end of my car rusting up, and if there is anything I can do to pull the bumer twords my car around the head light / wheel well area.
