OVERHEATING EG BAD HEAD GASKET?
Okay, this is a pretty easy one hear, but quite odd. The other day my car started overheating so I replaced the thermostat and rad cap, still overheating....then I find the top rad hose is slit, so I buy a new one of those too...still overheating...then I check my reserve for water and what do I find...SLUDGE!!! Oil, antifreeze, water, all mixed together...so I flush the system and start the car...overheats...so then I take OUT the THERMOSTAT and it still heats up to about halfway...gotta be the headgasket right?

Re: OVERHEATING EG BAD HEAD GASKET? (civiccpedx)
The fan never kicked on, have no idea why...I have another Civic with and H22, and the slimline in it never kicks on, however the H22 EG never goes past halfway, so maybe thats why that fan doesnt kick on....but as for the D16 motor I have no idea, all fuses and relays are good.
