overheating civic coupe

Default overheating civic coupe


i need help ppl....my car overheated cause my radiator was cloged up soo i got a new radiator and new termostat...
I drove to L.A. yesterday it was running fine 5-6hrs driving in HW once i exit and whent to the gas station my car started over heating when i stop...I checked my fan its running fine idle good ...today I drove back home 5-6 hrs before i take off i put new radiator coolant check everything . everything was running good. I drove 5-6hrs back home i exit my fu@$ing car started over heating again! Freaking a! i pulled ova too cool off my car then when home quick. I let my car run 4 awhile if it over heat again...waited my fan was working, checked the gauge it didnt heat up or anything wtf! my fraking car is messing with me....What do u think is wrong? heats up then goes down...

yes sr.......i got one of those 50/50 ready to go mixed coolant....

nah i changed it...its has brand new thermostat...

i think it migh be the water pump... :/ im not sure...

i think you need to change your hoses. go squeeze one of them, if it feels 'spongy' they need to be replaced.

they are still going to pass the coolant through if they are bad so i doubt its that.

open your cap, look inside with the car running, if you can see metal flakes in the coolant then your water pump is takeing a dump.

Have you radiator cap pressure tested.
Seems to me like its a bad cap.
