overheating??
ok i got a b16, and it is overheating, but it only does this about once a week, everytime it does this, the resovior is empty, so i fill it up and the temp goes back to normal, and then its empty again the next week, its not leaking or anything, motor is still running strong. now could this be that my temp sensor is messed up??? the temp sensor worked fine when i had an sohc in there. what do u guys think it could be. a cracked block possibly? anyone ever had the same prob. need help!!!!!

Re: overheating?? (Kp_VtekNiks)
if youre loosing fluid and there are no visible signs of fluid loss, then Id bet its your head gasket. do a leakdown test and see that happens.

sounds like head gasket check your coolant for oil sludge. try doing a compression test. also try feeding some pressure into the cylinder with a open radiator cap.. look for bubbles.. also check hoses or failed water pump seal check weep valve.
