Default over heating question?

i just finshed changing my headgasket and thermostat. and when i was going to bleed the coolent nothing came out. the car was running and the heater was on. so i let the car run a little and nothing still came out. i felt the hoses and the top is hot and the lower is cool. could this be that my pump is out? or even a bad radiator?i thought the thermostat i bought was bad out the package so i bought a mugen one a still same thing. i tried to just let the car run and after about 30 min it over heated. the radiator is a PWR but was sitting a little before i put it in. also the fan is always on too. if anyone had any ideas would help a lot. and i did search but no one tried to bleed there coolant so there was no answer to my question.

I had similar problems I got out of a radiator that sat in a del sol, replaced my radiator and solved the problem.

Get some pressure running through the core radiator. Use a high pressure nozzel.

Get a garden hose. Remove the lower radiator hose and the upper radiator hose. Insert the garden hose into the lower radiator hose, and turn the water on. This is reverse flushing. Water should freely flow out of the upper radiator hose.
