Default Ok, searched for Throttle body info and didn't get what I wanted. . .

Hello all.
I just got a D16Y8 Intake manifold that I plan to put on my D16Z6. The manifold didn't come with any sensors or throttle body (but it did come with injectors wtf) so I decided, while I'm at it all, may as well upgrade the throttle body also.
I'm almost certain I want to get one of the Hondata intake manifold gaskets because of its thermal isolation properties.
Has anyone used one of those Throttle Body spacers that I've seen on Ebay? IT doesn't seem like that would help, but who knows? Just thought I should ask.
Next, which OEM throttle bodies should I look into, or should I go aftermarket? Will all the sensors bolt on and work properly? How about the throttle cable?
Anybody got any other tips along the way it'd be greatly appreciated. I saw the page on SOHC VTEC tech and thats where I got the ideas for more ???'s.
Thanks
B

i'd say definately get a hondata gasket while you have the intake manifold off as they are proven to work and are inexpensive. TB spacers do help somewhat as they increase the velocity of the air going into the manifold and create a swirling effect somewhat similiar to a spacer on a carb. its good for a few hp but i wouldn't get an ebay one. for a cheaper route with the TB's you could take a stock one and get it bored out to as much as those expensive aftermarket TBs, that way you could keep the same sensors. you could use the TB cable from the d16y8 TB. anyways hope i could help you out.

I know what most of this is for, but there's a few I have questions.
And also, how to I handle a broken vaccume nipple?

Where does this little line go?

And these 2 lines. . . ?

I know these are coolant -

I know this is the brake booster

Here is the broken nipple. . . how can I fix this?

Man some of these are very blurry. I guess I was just too close to it when I took the pictures. I didn't even post the worst ones. I guess we get the idea

If the nipple on the last picture is broken, thats for cruise control just jb weld it and get a plastic tee and get vaccume from the fuel pressure regulator or get rid of the cruise control

You're saying JBWeld it shut right, kinda like sticking a piece of bubble gum over it? Ok sounds like a plan.

Yeah I didn't see the need for 2 lines here. There was a hose hooked up to it when it got here that went to some sensor. . . it is Denso of course, MX136200-1860 PCS24. Something for Emissions I assume? Don't have a pic handy.

For anybody still watching. . .

This photo shows a good top shot. I suppose the sensor mounted on the fuel rail is indeed something for emissions and may infact be the purge selinoid valve thingy.

Does anybody know if I'll need a d16y8 fuel rail? Maybe I'll start a new thread that says something about the intake manifold on it instead.

It seems the top one is to the normal PCV valve, but the bottom one goes to this unknown sensor which is mounted to the fuel rail.
