Default ok need help motor probs!!!! b18c oil pressure!!!!!

ok here is my setup
-94 cx hatch
-walbro 225lph fuel pump
-94 b18c
-ctr pistons
-95 gsr head
-skunk2 manifold
-skunk2 springs and retainers
-dc jdm header
-apex v-afc

i bought the block from a friend of mine who did hte build up and he says it was broken in properly has 2000 miles on it... he pulls hte block fromthe car i go pick it up and it sits in my garage... this is where it get weird i in stall the block into my car waiting on the head to come out the shop... i drain the oil and water omes out with it, so i take the oil pan off and clean it up and i find metal shaving it in(copper looking) i change the oil pump and clean it all up leave pan off and for a while and then reinstall it and fill it with oil and let it idle... i take it fora drive and take it into vtec and no vtec.. no codes no nothing and then my dayummmmmm oil presure lights comes on and starts to flicker when it comes to idle speed or whenever itake my foot of the gas pedal....

so i come home change the oil pressure sensor take my vafc out, and change the oil and filter again and take it for a drive and still the same thing... at this point i don't know what to do except rip it apart and rebuild it.. i installed a oil presse guage but waiting on on a 1/8 fitting to use it... i installed it on the head but the oil didn't travel high enough in the tubing to read anyting?!?!?!?! could that mean something

any info on this would be greatly apreciated.... i jsut want to enjoy this dayum thing

My best guess is oil pump is bad.

My next best guess is somehow the oil cooler isn't working properly, is clogged or something like that. (wild hairy guess there).

When the oil light comes on it means you have no pressure. Immediately shut off engine. Oil should shoot out of that line you instaaled for the gauge. Sounds like you have no pressure. Bad.

Water in oil means yer friend sold you a crap motor. Could be headgasket, could be worse.

Good Luck.

AHHHA HA!

I didn't understand what he said. So there was coolant IN the oil?

Busted head, but REMEMBER

94-95 B18C1 had OIL COOLER. Heat exchanger behind oil filter that cools the oil with coolant. Bust this internally, and oil pressure goes down and coolant mixes with oil.

But, more likely than not, you're right - busted head.
