I remember you posting up something about a mechanic working on your car?

Anyways sounds like your timing is off.

battery light was flashing...it would suddenly stop...lil bit of gas started it...please tell me u tried jumping it first, right? Iono what a battery light flashing means but it might mean ur battery's not putting out enough..

ANyways, if it fully started and u said it stalled soon after, I have to agree w/ the #2 poster, the timing sounds like it's off, u did take the timing blet off to do the valves, right? Makre sure it's aligned properly, best way to make sure it's aligne dproperly is to take it off and put it back on again, (makes u check everything again), sounds like it's one or 2 clicks off, just enough to not make the car run, but not enough to twist a valve

if that's not it, I would look into the fuel system..iono, sometimes it's ahrd to diagnose cars over hte web, easier to actually see/hear them, but in any event, check the timing first

make sure the cam and crank pulleys are set right. it's easy to have them be off a tooth.
