OK Car wont start after valve adj. and fluids?
Alright Sunday I did an oil and coolant change, along with a valve adj. and the car ran fine. I waited for the fan to cut on to make sure everything was fine. The car ran beautiful. Came back later and moved car over in the garage and:
I get up this morning and now the car will not start. Battery is good (well not now after trying to crank it for 30 min. I had to call the fiance to come get me and take her back to work.)
Now that I finally got home I can check everything.
I have good fuel pressure: so main relay is out
I have good spark: so ing. and coil is out
all fuses are good.
I am stumped
What do you guys think it is?
TIA

Re: OK Car wont start after valve adj. and fluids? (B18C5-EH2)
well now I have checked everything and even changed out the ignitor. I also found that the screw that holds the rotor button on was all the way out and ate up the plastic cover a little bit. With that part fixed, now what?
I think I may have some fouled plugs but it is just wierd that they all of a suddon went out like that. I mean it was running fine after everything was done.
I guess I am going to try and use some older plugs I have to see if it will start tomorrow.

OK, so I pulled the plugs last night and let them dry out a little until this morning. and now the car runs. I am assuming that they were flooded or something. IDK
but now the CEl stays solid the whole time when checking.
Whatcha Think?

OK finally got a chance to work on the car a little more, Here is what is now going on.
The car runs but it idles a little high and I stillhave the CEL.
Also, I have no vtec. I did replace the dist. after I found out that the screw that holds the rotor button on worked itself out and damaged the plastic cover for the ignitor. Well now I replaced it and I still have the CEL.
THE CEL IS ALWAYS ON AND WILL NOT LET ME CHECK IT.
I have tried 3 different good working ECU's and still nothing.
Please someone help
TIA
-Cory

Re: OK Car wont start after valve adj. and fluids? (slow poke)
I just purchased a new dist. from Distributor King and it did not help the problem.
I will see if I can check all the grounds again this weekend.
Thanx for the replies guys.

well I checked all of the ground and everything seems to be fine. I did however find out that one of the prongs on my chip had broken, so now that is fixed and I was able to check the CEL codes. But now that I let the car run for a minute I NOW cannot check it again. Do you guys think that I have a bad ECU or a bad Hondata S200 brain? I did notice that the red light on the inside blinks intermediately. Meaning if i tap it the light goes off. I did try another ecu and it let the cel go off which was cool. but I am still having problems.
