Oil + spark plugs = problems Help

Default Oil + spark plugs = problems Help

So my car was sputtering today (00 si) removed the spark plug wires and in cyl. 1 and 3 there was oil, none in 2 and 4. Checked the spark plugs and they were corrodid to ****.. oem from 2000, never been changed and has 100k on the car.. Question is.. Am I fucked here.. whats up with the oil in there??~

Was the oil on the electrodes or the threads?

ask the parts shop for *rubber o ring gaskets under the valve cover* then get new wires, chances are that u were having a misfire.

there was a good amount in the chamber i guess you'd call it.. it was in the cylinder portion above the spark plug

Then that's valve cover o-rings.

Spark plug tube gaskets. These things go bad alot on Hondas

I got new wires and spark plugs started the car and it was idling a little higher than normal and some smoke was coming outta the engine.. I'm guess it was burning off the excess oil
