oil pan drain plug size compared to a apexi drain plug sensor?
i have an Apexi Oil/water Temp gauge that came with a oil drain plug to replace the stock one. my question is.. is it the same size as the stock one? or would i have to get an adapter? if i had to get an adapter which one would i go about to buying? or would it be easier to just do a water temp gauge? also the gauge reads in C. so does the water temp get hot enough to go at least over 40 degrees C? sorry for noob questions. just didnt feel like taking out my oil drain plug and having to oil change the car and find out the plug isnt the same size.

my best guess is the gauge reads oil pressure from the drain plug, so its modified with a sensor in it.
otherwise, i see no reason in changing the drainplug
