Oil light question

Oil light question
Hey guys and gals, got a quick question. When I turn my keys to ignition and crank it over, for some reason my oil light stays on for a second after every other lights go off. Then the oil light goes away. The car makes kind of like a cough but idles fine after its been turn over and it also drives fine too. I checked the oil level and it is perfectly fine. So now I'm assuming that it maybe the oil pump or the oil pressure sending unit. What do you guys and gals think?
