Oil leaking on spark plugs - HELP
I just got a brand new distributor and head gasket replaced less than a year ago. My car was idling hard and stalling, so a friend of mine recommended a tune-up. I got new wires/plugs and had the tune-up done. While getting the tune-up my friend noticed oil has leaked into my cylinders on the spark plugs. The oil was on all four spark plugs, some more than others and was dripping off the plugs. Once he replaced the plugs and wires, my car has been running fine. I need to now address the oil leak because I don't want this to damage my car. Any suggestions as to what could cause an oil leak on my spark plugs? And how to fix it? Also, my check engine light has been coming on for the past few months, the car doesn't drive differently while the light is on it just comes on once I reach a certain speed and some days it doesn't come on at all...any suggestions, I think it is a bad oxygen sensor...what do you think? Also, if you know of good mechanics in the Charlotte, NC area, please let me know.

There are small O-ring gaskets at the top of each spark plug gally. They tend to leak after a while. You get an entire new set when you buy a valve cover seal. I suggest replacing all of them.

Re: Oil leaking on spark plugs - HELP (Archidictus)
Right, usually when you have a head gasket problem water will be on the spark plugs...is this correct? I remember having water on them before when the gasket blew. I'll try the o-rings and hopefully that will help. Thank you.
