Default oil leak, think it's the cam plug

i picked up a nice 99 si, but it has a terrible oil leak. i haven't gotten it into the shop yet to verify where it's coming from but seems to be the cam plug behind the vtec solenoid.

now when i pull the cam plates off and go to pull the cam cap off is it necessary to pull the timing belt and loosen and retighten all the cam caps or can i safely get away with just removing and reinstalling the one cam cap?

i am afraid of pulling that single cap and causing an irregular wear problem?

yes no?

thanks guys
