smoke from engine
well i don't think smoke was suppose to come out of my engine.
at 5 today i cleaned my air filter and changed my oil at the same time
by 6 i was done with everything and cleaned up
by 11, i drove my car around (hitting red line), after i came back i popped the hood and saw some smoke come out (between the engine and the intake manifold) the smoke lasted about 10-15 seconds and stopped. I checked the engine oil and it was fine. anybody have any clues on what i did wrong? and/or what the problem is? thanks in advance

sounds like oil burning off your exhaust manifold down there and rising up . . I had same prob . . . i can list some of the things it could be though . . .
1 - you didnt clean up that well . . . it could be burning off excess oil
2 - the oil sending unit could be leaking
3 - your oil pan gasket
4 - rear engine seal
and others im sure I'm not listing, but check these and see what it looks like . .

i was sloppy when i cleaned up the oil that dripped onto the header, so maybe it was that oil that made the smoke? thanks Lude4Life03
if it might be more than that, anyone can tell me what else might it be?
