I'm going to change the oil in my car, not sure what to put in it. This is the 1st time i've had to change it since I've had the car, about 3,500 miles. Its got 178k on the clock. Should I go with like a high mileage oil like the Castrol high mile or somethin. And what type of oil would you guys recommend, like 5w30 etc... Thanks.

honda recomends 5-30 and thats what i run, regular castrol 5-30, the high mileage is about a dollar more per qt and iam cheap so i dont bother with it. the benifits are supposed to be pretty good so a friend of mine says

Blah... 10w-30/40. Cheapest stuff you can find. It's got 170k, 5w-30 might be too thin depending on the condition of the motor.

And if you plan on keeping the motor for a while try using Mobile One constantly. It is what Honda recomends and sells at their dealerships and I use it on my car and I have never had any problems with oil related issues.
