that looks like the honda one it just loops the oil around the large water line on the back of the engine. You shouldn't have any proplem getting a universal oil cooler and plumbing it to the front of the car

It goes where the oil filter goes normally and then oil filter sits on top of it. There's a threaded bolt that you need to use (double sided threads) that's avaliable from Honda retail.

Coolant oil coolers are poo.

Get a nice universal air cooler and mount it up front.

You will need the hose #3 and #2 in order to make that work. But like mentioned just do a aftermarket one, much better cooling.

Right because really those are oil warmers, which helps the engine get up to temp faster by heating the oil with coolant (which heats up faster). OBD1 USDM B18C1s came with those stock.

Many trucks or cars for that matter have trans coolers that are cooled by what? Air! Ambient air temp is always cooler that any engine (coolant) up to operating temp.

^Agreed.

It is a headache for not much improvement. Just like a water to air intercooler, they are compact and simple, but their performance is very lacking. An oil cooler is a great idea, but not like that.
