oil capacity quick answer please

Default oil capacity quick answer please

changin the oil,realised i diddnt have a service manual what does the d16z6 take for oil?4 quarts?thanks

Pepper - Your engine will take between 3.5 to 4 quarts. Put in 3.5 run, check for leaks, turn off check the dipstick and add more if needed. The oil should just be touching the top hole.

i thought that guy was an idiot. i put 4 and it filled it perfect.

Ah ****, when I changed my D16Z6 oil I just dumped the whole 5qt thing in there.

No wonder it's so high :-P.

Oh well, it's not foaming so I don't care.

Now I know though, thx!
