I have a 2000 civic ex coupe. I am trying to decide what oem honda seats i want to replace my current seats with. I don't want leather since i am in a very cold climate. I am considering the gsr seats. What's the difference between the civic si seats and my current ex seats? are the si seats more comftorable than the gsr seats? I want a full set for my coupe. I want the rear seats to match my fronts. I have the type k interior which i a dark grey. I would like some input and what oem honda seat will bolt up with little to no modification. thanks in advance.

integra fronts are alot more comftorble than the ones you have, if your looking for cloth all the trims of integra are the same, rs,gs,ls,gsr, besides ls special edition and gsr, leather, for back seats, I don't beleive that any of the integra seats will even come close. the si seats suck, the only difference, with yours, are the head rest which have a hole in them.

I just need to swap the rails right? Anyone know if any integra back seats will swap into my ek coupe

To answer your first question the civic Si seats are the same, just a different pattern and headrest. They suck. You only have to swap the inner rail for the integra seats...

I like my 5th gen Prelude seats. They are comfortable and hug you like the GSR's.

I was going to complain about not searching but I did some searching on my own and most of the threads pertain to 92-95 civics.

GSR coupe seats fit in 92-95 hatches

GSR sedan seats fin in 92-95 coupes

I can confirm that GSR sedan seats DO NOT fit in 96-00 coupes.

To go out on a limb I would guess that the GSR coupe seats would not fit either.

My personal opinion is that 96-00 civic EX and Si seats are terrible, GSR seats are Marginally better. I have s2000 seats in my Civic and love them. However that still wouldn't solve your rear seat problem. I just took the rears out of my car.

the only reason i care about the rears is because i want everything to match. I just don't feel my current ex seats are very comftorable. I know what seats fit and what don't i am just curious about the rears if any of them will fit my rears.

Well I have limited it down to GSR coupe seats being a possibility someone who has dealt with this will have to answer that for you. I doubt they would work though. You could just take your rears to an upholstery shop and have them match it to whatever you get. It wouldn't cost that much. The GSR cloth seats don't look too bad with the EX rears. If you got Si seats it would all match but they are pretty much the same. Other people love the GSR seats, I think they are only minutely more comfortable and look about the same if not more goofy.

I hear what you are saying about the current seats though, I couldn't stand them. Let us know what you end up doing.
