OEM or replacement tweeters for my 99 SI
Posted in audio forum with no response....
For reasons beyond my control, my 99 SI doesn't have the factory tweeters. I have the factory pods but need the tweets. Does anyone have any they want to get rid of cheap or know of some aftermarket ones that fit nicely? I'm more concerned with just filling the empty holes than anything right now.

Hmmm, I guess I need to refine my question a little. Is the mounting space pretty much an industry standard? Meaning will just about any tweet fit in the mounting pod correctly and look right? That is why I was mentioning OEM ones cause I know they will fit right.

Re: (TwistedSI)
my buddy's 00si has clarion tweets and it does not fit inside the oem pods, it had to be modified and now is mounted on the outside. not too sure on all tweeters though, but if you don't want to modify your pods and don't really care about sound quality, go with oem. on the other hand with simple mods that an audio store can do, and you care about sound quality, and don't mind spending a little cash, i recommend on going with MB Quart Reference Series. hope that helped
