oem piston rings and bearings
Why is it so hard to find an oem ring and bearing set. Maybe even oem gaskets? Does anyone have a link that they could post for me. 96 b18c in 2000 si. Was fun til it started using 2 quarts of oil every 50 miles.

I really so no reason for your attitude towards nsxter.
Even though you don't exactly deserve it now, I'll pass on a little advice I was given. Use your old bearings. They last 300k miles easily and they're either good or bad. If the motor isn't knocking, they're still good. Besides, it's actually better to use used bearings because you can make a bit more power.
For rings, NPR are cheap and they're OEM quality Japanese steel. Or Hastings, Teikoku (the company Honda gets their rings from) merged with Hastings. Or JE and several others sell good rings...they're just really expensive.

Thanks smartass. That's why I stopped using this shitty *** forum. Cause of smart *** punks like you, you detour many people from even wanting to enjoy their cars. Your probably some dumbass that has a fake *** screen name that has a fn festiva. You probably have to call road side assistance to change a flat tire. Get the **** off honda-tech. And to whom else it may concern...why the **** have a forum if all the people on here are ********. There are a ton people out here that would love some help. But are probably afraid to ask due to lack of wanting further embarrassment. So to all you haters on here that think u know it all and are too good to help a brother out **** OFF. I have built and owned more hondas this year than u will own in your lifetime. So go to hell honda-tech. I'm out.
