Is OEM just as good as Genuine Honda Parts?

Re: Is OEM just as good as Genuine Honda Parts?
OEM isn't "always" best. OEM head bolts, cam seals, certain gaskets, etc just aren't up to snuff sometimes. Most DOHC guys know the dreaded oil leak from the stock cam seal. A cheap eBay 3 o-ring cam seal works better.
And Honda got some parts from other companies, such as Denso. Therefor, Denso is just as good since it is specified as Honda OEM. Gates makes Honda's timing belts.

No idea where you got HOP = Honda Optional Parts. Yes, there are optional parts you can get from Honda, but the HOP you're associating with the bunny? That is Honda Original Parts. Have you ever seen the bunny logo?
I'll gladly admit I'm incorrect when I see a genuine image of the bunny, HOP, and the word optional instead of original. Until then, hopefully people who find this page from a Google search (like I have) wont be misinformed.
Feel free to complete a Google search yourself, but I have gone to the trouble of a comparison of a basic image search already using strings: 'honda optional parts logo' & 'honda original parts logo'.

This has been corrected before. I got confused. No big deal. The bunny and HOP don't even seem to be in use anymore. That small bit of incorrect information likely would have never hurt anyone.
You seem to have put a lot of work into proving me wrong on one word.
