Hi. I have a question.

What's the odds of a 2000 se Civic (4 doors, 106hp motor, no power windows, no cd/cassette, etc) targetted to be stolen specifically?

I mean, there are other cars like a cadillac, trucks with no locked doors, etc. in the area. Would you aim to steal that civic and why?


Forgot to mention, the civic stolen would be stripped of all it's parts.
Might sound stupid but i'm curious..

are you saying the civic would already be stripped BEFORE being stolen? or stolen TO BE stripped?

anyways, civic's (and especially 99-00 civics) are the main targets to be stolen not because they are high class like cadillac's and what not.. but because EVERYONE has a civic.. and EVERYONE can use some civic parts right.

demand = market. market = money. demand = money.

if everyone had a cadillac or a truck, then those would be a target for theft.

ha ha...leave your car in an empty parking lot for 3 days unattended....if ur community is into imports i can almost promise you ur car will be gone....lol..thats the way it is in Oklahoma..yes Oklahoma.....LOL..there are a lot of scandalous asians out there..and sad to say..i know a few of them..and i am asian too...but im not scandalous..and the fortunate thing about being asian is that word gets around of who stole what fast....so im not to scared of my car getting stolen...and plus i have full coverage...just means new car for me..he he..but those bitches still better not touch my car!!!

they will want your front end - hood, fenders, lights, bumper - if you have an armrest (they want it) - tach on your cluster(they want it) - and the rest they could care less - the odds of it being stolen??? - would say like 4or5 out of ten - dependeding where you live and park it - any theif with a brain wont steal your car -the ex is much more profit frendly - integra, si's, ex's are the ones they want - for parts anyway - relax and enjoy that shiz lol

i had my 98 coupe stolen right out of driveway really **** d me off to no end..really can t explain how i felt about the lost cuz i had spent hours and $$$$$ on it..i add d up all the mastercard slips to send to the insurance company and it came to almost 7k...that was a week ago..and still no word..she s probably laying in the canal under 15 ft. of water or in a thousand pieces by now ..still debating what ill be getting next..the wife wants me to buy hp rather than spending all the additional money for it..but the Si s, SEV s, tiburon V6, or mitsu eclipse all look good..sorry about the long post..its like losing a love one ..oh yeah, **** THE THEIVES..HOPE THEY DIE BADLY!!

yeah theft around my area is horrible.
im considering not buying a honda now, cuz i have more paranoia about my car than anything.
i might just go get a vw and end with it.

theres a whole bunch of kids from my area that go out scoping cars at local strips and end up boosting the car sooner or later.
it happened to my friend.

and since there is the internet, selling the parts are no problem cuz there are hella kids out there willing to buy anything, cash, and no questions asked.
