odd noise from steering wheel
I'm getting a high pitch rubbing sound from the steering wheel it self, its not the belts or the cv joint. Also its only making the noise turning the wheel to the right.
Anyone know what it could be?

I get that too, sounds like plastic squealing as you turn the wheel to the right.
Obviously something to do with the plastic cover on the steering column, at least in my car.

Re: odd noise from steering wheel (JDM-EJ1)
This thread is old as shat , BUT , I thought i could shine some light on the problem.
My Rex did the same thing , I took off the steering wheel and found the cause , the metal tabs for the horn that ride on a round plate like a track when the wheel turns was scratching due to no more lube on it. Easy fix , just a small dab of lithium grease and rubbed it around the horn disc.
Hope this helps someone since this thread is old.
