Default Odd electrical problem 98 civic hatch

Yesterday the car was running perfectly until a quick stop at the gas station. When I pulled out of the gas station my car was bogging severly and all of my lights in the car and outside of the car keep flickering. This includes the dash and everything else. On top of the my speedometer stopped working too. I seem to have checked all the grounds and they are all there and now I'm at a loss of what it could be. Any suggestions?

Check the 7.5 amp number 15 fuse in your under dash fuse panel - I'm willing to bet it's popped.

Check engine light is going to come on next, and you'll be storing check engine codes for the vehicle speed sensor, electronic load detector, and secondary oxygen sensor most likely.

There is a Honda service bulletin # 99-029 that deals with a very specific problem on many 96-99 Civics of all models.

The cause is worn engine wiring harness right at the intake manifold support bracket - the repair includes repairing any damaged wires, and adding extra corrugated tuning/tape to prevent the harness from rubbing through against the bracket again.

I'd post you pics but my All-Data doesn't let me right click or save images or text. There is probably detailed info online/Google if you search it. I'll do that right now.

You now have a PM with the link to a .pdf file of the exact bulletin.

I went and checked all the wires and it still did not work. I replaced the 7.5 fuse and everything. Any other suggestions?

Was the fuse blown to begin with?
