OBX coilover dampers
Does anyone know anything about these coilover dampers, JUNK? They are price decently $490 shipped on ebay. I have a 95 dx hatch. I want to lower the car and have it not ride like a rock and bounce off the road. I've also been looking at a package of KYB AGX shocks with a set of Ground Control Coilover sleeves for $580 shipped. Any info would be appreicated. I did a search first and couldn't find any info on the OBX line of coiloves.

Re: OBX coilover dampers (Spins)
From what I've seen from obx products, I would recommend going with the kyb/gc combo. It's only $90 more and the obx coilovers are probably trash.

Re: OBX coilover dampers (Spins)
well, I can vouch for them and I like 'em a lot, I got a set from a junkyard for 100 bucks so I cant complain
they have like a 15 way adjustment screw atop each one and they seem to be pretty solid.
499 shipped? thats a great deal too
I'd get em
not very popular so they seem

Re: OBX coilover dampers (BigBlockCRX)
I have them in my 93 hatch and I love them. Like BigBlockCRX said, 15 way adjustable screw on top of them. Mine are all on the stiffest setting and the car is solid. I've also road in a friends cars with TEIN Flex's and I still think the OBX Spec-R's are comparable, especially for the price (500 compared to 1000+).
Just my opinion though. Some people will never put any OBX products on their car just because it's OBX. Personally, I'll use whatever works well. If you have the money though, I'd go with TEINS.... pricey but very very nice!
EDIT: Just read your post again and saw that you don't want your car to "ride like a rock "... well, I haven't tried driving the car with the coilovers on the "softer" settings so I couldn't tell you how it rides. I just keep mine on stiff... and the car is very stiff... and you will ride like a rock.

Re: OBX coilover dampers (Spins)
I have only bought 2 obx products, and they have costed me more money trying to get them to fit than if I would have bought venom, edelbrock or unorthodox. I will never buy obx again and neiher should anyone else. It seems like every time you try to cut a corner and save some money you are just going to end up replacing it anyway.

Re: OBX coilover dampers (dogfood)
what are the spring rates of the OBX coilovers
i know that Tokico makes the absorber but who makes the spring and what are their rates
i am thinking of getting them but replacing ht4e springs with CG custom rate springs
