Re: KYB Shox??????? (layz1eviet)
I used ground control with my KYB's on my old hatch if i remember right the install was kind of hard to cut the shocks a little, but the set up felt nice one it was all said and done.

Re: KYB Shox??????? (crujones)
im actually thinking of getting spings now that i think about it, the reason for getting new shox was b/c my old ones were blown and they had coilovers on them, so i want to know how much i can drop it with out blowing the new ones, thinking about getting the tien s-tech or the eibach pro , which would u guys recomend

Get H&R sport springs.
You can get them for the Si if you want, but the ITR ones will work and are a bit stiffer.
EDIT-and relatively cheap...unlike tein.

you got the KYB GR2's....which aren't much stiffer than stock and don't like too high of a spring rate.
Opt for some H&R Sports...that should be a decent setup with a slight drop to it

H&R seems to have alot of peeples approval but my main concern is still for the long run, meening i dont want the shox to get blown and i have to go get new ones. from wat i understand if i get stiff springs that will prevent them from getting blown, is that right????

That is kinda backwards. In order to run a stiff spring you need a stronger damping force than stock. If you use a stiff spring with a stock or kyb gr2 shock it will be more of a bouncy ride (and shorter life) because the damper can't control the force of the stiffer spring.
The best springs for gr2s are stock
I say can the stock replacement shocks and get some cheap adjustables like Tokico illumina or KYBagx. I did a set of the KYBagxs today with some adjustable springs on an integra. The rate in the front was 450lbs and 350 in the back. It was not under damped on setting #2 out of 4. I don't know the stock rates.
