Default obd2b 2nd o2 heater question.

Ive searched and havent come up with a define answer, hoping someone here can help me. Car 99cx y7 hatch w/ obd2b y8 head (mini-me). The car works great, just want to loose the cel. There is no cat in the car. I have the 2nd o2 in a pipe on the firewall to trick the ecu into thinking theres cleaner air there. Im throwing a p0141 code: o2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 1 sensor 2). I dont belive the sensor to be bad as it worked up untill i moved it. I guess the question is, can i add a resistor to the line so the ecu sees it as fine. I am planing to get a p28 w/ harness sometime, but would like to get a temp fix untill then.

Cliffs: need to bypass 2nd o2.

Emissions are not relivant here in Nova Scotia so that is not an issue for me.
any help would be great.
Thanks.

Why go through the trouble of wiring resistors and whatnot if you plan to get a P28?

thats the problem, the ecu sees that the sensor is there and working, it just has a problem with the heater control. As far as im aware, the sim doesnt do anything for the heater only the o2.

no, still using oem harness. Perhaps the wire is damaged to the ecu. Ill check the ecu @ A9 to see if theres continutity in the morning.
