Default obd2 to obd1 question

ok so i have 96 ek hatch with a d16y7 motor. i will be switching to a y8 manifold with ls tb and will be using the 2wire iac setup so my question is do i still need to do the 3 wire to 2 wire iac repin at the ecu plug? i have the obd2a to obd1 ecu jumper and will be using my obd1 hondata s300.

first ek btw so im new to the this obd2 thing and yes i know i dont need to be using a hondata s300 for this y7 motor but its still fun to mess with launch control and stuff lol plus the car idles and runs better on it anyway and the price of a stock y7 ecu here (hawaii) is over $120
