Obd1 swap in EK.
Alright guys i searched and got a couple of answers i just wanted to make sure i am going about this correctly before i start ordering stuff. I have a 97 Cx hatch that i will be swapping an obd1 b16 in. All i need is the obd2a-obd1 conversion harness, p28 ecu, obd2 alternator, and i can use the stock obd1 b16 injectors as long as i use the obd1 injector clips right? I have to use a obd2 dizzy too right? I have swapped a couple of EF's but have never touched nothing newer then obd0. Will any p28 work or does it have to be chipped for a b series. As far as axles, i can use integra axles right? I can use any b series shift linkage right? Thanks for being patient with this EK newbie.

Re: Obd1 swap in EK. (hatchi)
preciate the response. does the b16sir2(JDM eg6) come with that 99-00 si rear engine bracket or is that bracket different on the obd1 b16? Do I have to use all 99-00 SI mounts or will my stock ones work.

it comes with an eg rear bracket (if it even does come with it), you'll need to find an si one. any b series integra front tranny bracket, and an si drivers side mount that is on the engine.

I thought all u needed was the SI rear tranny bracket and the SI driver side post mount. So u have to get a B-series front tranny mount too?

if your worried about inspection, yell need a obd-2 oil pump that has the mount for the crank fluctuation sensor, and the sensor. i have this on my ek with a 95 gsr motor in it.

yeah i am not worried about vehicle inspection because my county doesnt do any of that stuff so i am just going to run it as obd1. One more question. I am most likely going to order the b16sir2 complete changeover from hmotors. The eg6 shift linkage and axles will work for my Ek right?

Re: (EFvtec Yo!)
eg to ek are the same, they will work. if you are getting the hole swap you will be in good shape. just use the harness that comes with the swap. just remove the batt, and the harrness will come right out, there only one piece in the civics, not two piece like the teg's are. you must live in hazzard county to not have any type of inspection thats not a pain the ***, like where i live and every where else.
