OBD1 ECU w/ OBD2 dizzy ok?
:96 civic ex wit a GSR swap currently running on an OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness wit a PR4 ( id just like to point out i got the car this way)
I was just making sure its cool to run a chipped PR4 obd1 ecu with an OBD2 dizzy I recently got a 96 gsr coupe for cheap, but the stupid a** kid is running a pr4 and I think and LS obd2 dizzy. It barely wants to start like it fires but i have to give it gas and then it misses and dies and then misses and cutts out like kinda sounds like the timing is off.... but as soon as its warmed up it runs fine.... help help would be awsome(also i am chipping the ecu 2morra)

It should work for the short run but I would plan on switching it out soon. It all depends on how much of an inconvenience it is for you.

PR4?!?!?!?! lol
your dizzy needs to match the ecu. obd2 dizzys dont have a crank sensor in them where as an obd1 dizzy does.
