OBD1 Conversion?

OBD1 Conversion?
how do i convert to obd1? would installing one of these qualify as converting to OBD1? what computer do i have now? i have a 94 dohc del sol.

if not then what do i do to convert and how much does it cost? sorry if that is a stupid question but i dont really know anything about the computer. i did a search and i couldnt really find any good info.

Your car is already OBDI. Which means you have only one O2 sensor instead of two.
'92-'95 Civics/del Sols are OBDI, '96 and newer are OBDII.

thank you. so i would assume that means i can bolt on my test pipe/resonator and have no o2 sensor problems like people keep telling me i will.

OBDI cars only have one O2 sensor, but I'm not sure whether it's in the cat or the header. If it's in the cat, you might have problems using the test pipe. If it's in the header, then you should be fine.

just take it to a muffler shop and have them weld in a new o2 sensor bung somewhere else. on my d15b7 the o2 sensor went into the exhaust manifold, while my b18c1 has the o2 sensor going into the cat.
