Alright the only code im throwing is 41 which is primary o2 sensor correct? well i been trying to figure out why the hell my engine is running soo shitty. Like it backfires like crazy. Flames out the tail pipe. At 3 grand! But anyays could a bad o2 sensor cause an engine to run that aweful. Cause it was running fine before i took the intake manifold off and put it back on to change the gasket. And i been messing with it for a few days now...cant get any progress. Changed the cap and rotor. Blah blah blah...who knows...let me know if you have any ideas

a bad o2 sensor can make that car run like ****.. trust me.. we fucked mine up when replacing the clutch and i got about 150 miles to the tank.. car ran like **** and used WAY too much gas at idle and when driving.. get a new one and you should be fine considering it does sound like you could have messed it up during the process.. its gonna be a bitch to get outta the exhaust manifold if you do it yourself..

well i been running with the CEL 41 on for about 6-8k miles now... doesn't hurt my mileage... bt it does make me run rich on top end... reason for loss of power... sucks... it shouldn't be that hard to take it off....

my bud had a code 41 after installing his swap and guess what it was... O2 sensor indeed

one of the pins in the O2 connector/harness at the end of the O2 wire, was bent so it never contacted the other contact in the harness.

You can remove the O2 sensor and test it with a Voltmeter or Ohmmeter, I forget which.. but there is a method described in the Helms manual. I can post that tomorrow if need be.

my mechanic also told me im throwing a code 41 and a code 49 and code 1. my motor is a 93 SiR-G (JDM GSR). he also said i should have a secondary o2 sensor, is that true? for the o2 sensor could it be a good o2 sensor that was wired up incorectly? i think that's the case for me.
