Default Code 1... exhaust leak, or wrong sensor?

So i got my car running tonight... and it randomly threw a code one, which is for the o2 sensor. i thought this was odd, since my o2 sensor has maybe 10 miles on it.

so i was wondering, could an exhaust leak at the joint where the manifold meets the down pipe cause the CEL?

how about using an o2 sensor for a d15 on 1.6l parts?

it could be possible, because the 02 sensor is reading that its not getting any oxygen due to it escaping throught that leak.

it could be wiring or a bad sensor, i'm not sure about an exhaust leak causing this, it would have to be a big leak.
Is the o2 sensor a bosch. i've hear alot of complaints about them going bad fast, like in 10 miles.

no i don't think it's bosch... does it make a difference if it's a 1.5l sensor or a 1.6l?

i dont think it matters. my friend is running an o2 sensor off of an a6 on his b2.
and it doesn't throw any codes.

it doesnt matter they are the same o2 sensors. but mine threw the same code on my ls swap. i was running it on a pm6, turned out that it was the ecu. changed to another pm6 and it stopped throwing the code.
