Default obd1 or 2?

im sorry if this seems like a dumb question but, what is the differnce between abd1 and 2 and what makes one better then the other? i have herd a few things about obd2 but they contridict the other so i just want to clear things up, and when i do a swap do i want to keep obd2 or go to obd1? and why.

obd1 if you dont have emissions. Its easier to tune.

more emissions in ODBII. very limited in it's current tuning.

use ODBI if you can
