Default o2 sensor question

sprak plugs are indicating too rich...could it be because the o2 sensor is bad??..plugs says that engine is too rich but air fuel gauge says its lean...d16z6 into a 92 cx with a p28...i was thinking that i have to cahnge out to a 4 wire o2 sensor instead of the single wire the cx has...i already did a search and foudn out how to do so just need to know if its something i need to do?? thanx all

a cheap fix , try a colder plug

small tidbit for ya, p28's use a four wire sensor usually two black wires a white and a green so I would say before you do anything else go ahead and put the correct sensor in it and go from there. hope this helps
