NOS and other parts for my project EX
I'm working on a 97 Civic EX, with D16Z7, SOHC, and I have the following questions ?
1) Has anyone put a 100 shot of NOS on this motor, and how did you do it, and how did it work ?
2)How much HP does the stock rods hold ?
3) Are there a set of strong stock style rods available that I can put in the car ? I dont want to get crowers yet. I am willing to have them shot-peened.

you can't do a 100 shot safely on stock internals...you can get away w/ a 75 if you use it correctly, and have fuel and spark in check...the internals are good to 225-250 hp...but once your over 200 you have to pay close attention to fuel and spark...the rods/pistons are weak and will snap, or melt quickly if you don't know what you are doing.
