Default normal for springs to squeak?

installed apexi world sport coilovers like a month ago and never really worried about the squeaking noise in the rear struts till now. the squeaking noise of the springs annoy me along with the itr sway bar endlinks clinging against the muffler i believe.

but anyway to get rid of the squeaking noise when i go on bumps and stuff? could it be that the top hats of the rear have no rubber on the top of the top hat while the front do? seems like a small piece of rubber but could it make a difference?

searched also and some used grease but the description of the problem was vague so any insights are wanted. thanks

I also have this squeeking in my 2k, EX,... just started about 5,000 miles ago, now nearing 75,000

Dont know what it is, but im stock and I have it. Maybe it is just the frame twisting some. Perhaps a rear upper bar would fix it as I heard it does in hatches.

that happened to me too, it is coming from where the spring meets the cup on the top (inside the weheel well), just sray it with some wd40 and it goes away

take the coilover off and wrap electrical tape around the part where the adjuster sits on the strut so it fits nice and tight on there
