Default 94 Del Sol Headlight Q's

My friend has a 94 del sol and his lights went out recently. so he went to shucks and bought the regurlar bluish light bulb he always gets. When he puts the bulb in, it turns out yellow. He thoguht it might have been the defected bulb so he went out and bought 2 more blue bulbs but the headlight still turns yellow like stock. the passenger side headlight flashes blue, but the driver side is OEM yellow. Anything wrong or anyway to fix this problem? thanks

why does the headlight flash ? replace both bulbs with standard bulbs and see what happens. if you still see yellow, check for loose connections on the headlamp wires. (wiggle them)

When does the headlight flash ? when you signal ? Maybe the wires might be crossed with the siganl lamp. I've had a similar problem (dim light) where it turned out to be a bad connection at the back of the headlight, I'd recheck the wiring maybe with a multi-meter see if the output is correct.

by "FLASHING" i meant when the lights were just turned on. when we turn on the headlights, the driver side is OEM yellow, and the passenger side is the blue bulbs he had bought.

This all happend after he blew a bulb on the driver side.

there are 3 wires thats connected to the black box bulb am i right? dont know which one is bad of if that is the problem
