Default noob question.

Whats up, I just got a 93 cx civic hb. Its a very clean car and I love the way a eg hatch looks. Anyways,I have a b18a1 ls motor, ecu, axles, and a si b series hydro trans. My question is will the motor drop in fairly easy? would I also need to have a diffrent wire harness/ and what axles can i use for this swap. I know that the motor is a obd1 and I think it will be a easy swap but I would like some advice. PLease help. I also searched but, the only ls motor swap that came up was a b18b swap. THANKS

b series swaps tend to be one of the easier swaps to do-

I believe if you have an obd1 harness with an obd1 motor- most things should line up there may be a sensor or two you have to add, not quite sure on that... You can use the axles that are with the motor

all you will need are mounts and a linkage...sounds like you have everything else...the harness will work, but you have to extend some of wires (def the o2 sensor)....you probably will have to have the flange turned on your exhaust to make it match the header but thats it..

Hes pretty much right. You'll need the rear motor mount and L-bracket form an integra, And you'll also need the shift linkage. The exhaust wil have to be modded a very little bit to make it mate up to the headers, or you could buy a carsound cat that has the moveable flange.

I'm not sure, but isnt the b18a1 an obd0 motor?

Thanks for the help 93egjames. I got my b18a1 motor of my old car a 93 integra, which was a obd1 car. 93 was when Honda decided to make the DA integra obd1. You said that I would need the L- bracket of a integra, can that come of my DA 93 integra, or does it have to be a DC2 integra?
