None of my windows work!
I have no clue....none of my power windows will roll down on my 97 civic lx sedan. I checked each door and none of them will roll down. What could it be? I'm lost. I've checked the fuse but its not burned out.

Re: None of my windows work!
Dunno the wiring diagram for that car. But if the power for each window goes through the main switch, the power wire going to the switch may have an open or the switch may be broken.
when you push teh down button does it sound like they are trying to go down? If you push up does the motor make any sound? If you listen closely, the motor should make a small sound even if the window doesn't move.

Re: None of my windows work!
I replaced the 40A hood fuse, still nothing.
How do I check the dash fuses? Just pull them out and look for a broken connection?
Also, Is there supposed to be any light at all on my drivers door window switch? Is the AUTO supposed to be lit up? I have no lights at all on my switch.
Do I have to pull the whole door panel to replace that whole drivers door switch pod? I can't get my door panel off at all.
Thanks for everyone's help thus far....I am determined to get my windows working!

Re: None of my windows work!
Well, I've checked all fuses referenced above. They are all good. I've also changed the relay to a new one. I also changed the master switch on the door and the windows still don't work! What am I to do next?

Re: None of my windows work!
Problem solved. There was a wire in the door jam that was cut/broken. I just soldered it back together and now my windows work!

Re: None of my windows work!
yeah try checking the wires in the doorjam first. All you gotta do is pull that black conduit off the wires. luckily, right when i pulled the conduit back, i saw a broken wire right there.
